CABLING
- Installation, management, and maintenance.
- Perform major and minor preventive maintenance, and repairs.
- Identify, track, and remove abandoned/legacy cables.
- Test every newly installed or relocated cable in compliance with industry-standard
- Home-run, pull, stop and splice copper and fiber optic cables, (CAT5, SE, CAT6, low voltage cables, and fiber)
- Installation of cable support system: cable pathways, trays, rails and conduits
- Cable calibration, continuing test, Troubleshooting and remediation
- Cable and Fiber Termination, phone jacks, Patching and punch-down
- Closet hardware, installation, and inspection. Connecting blocks, fiber enclosures, Racks, and backboard installation.
- Cable certification.
Wi-Fi Survey
- Complete wireless site surveys: Predictive Analysis, Greenfield APoS, Post Validation.
- Utilize Wireless site survey software (Ekahau, Spectrum Analysis, AirMagnet, NetSpot)
- Troubleshooting tasks to prevent wi-fi downtime
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of wireless equipment
- Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization.
- Design and validate RF link performance, quality, and reliability.
- Deliverables: blueprints, floorplans, RF heat maps, and other survey reports.
INSTALLATION
- Install/configure connectivity equipment
- Physical moves of connectivity assets
- Application of changes required (profile updates)
- General connectivity support
- Performance tuning of connectivity devices and speed tests
- Preparing physical legacy assets for disposal
- Validation of work completion by the Client.
